Accounts & Saved Graphs
Sign in to save your directories, access them across devices, and share them. Covers sign in, save, load, rename, delete, and theme/settings sync.
Fewer works fully without an account. Signing in is optional and unlocks saving your directories to your account, accessing them from any device, and sharing them with more control.
Click the Sign in button in the top navbar to open the auth dialog. You can:
- Create an account with an email and password
- Sign in to an existing account
- Reset your password via email
After signing in, the navbar shows your account menu with a Sign out option.
Save a Graph
- Click Save Current Graph in the Your Directories sidebar section
- Name the graph and click Save
Saving is always user-initiated. Fewer never auto-uploads your graph.
What Gets Saved
A saved graph captures the full app state:
- Nodes, edges, and their positions
- Layout direction and edge style
- Theme mode, custom theme colors, corner radius
- Node dimensions and minimap settings
Restoring a saved graph restores everything, so you can pick up exactly where you left off.
Load, Rename, Delete
The Your Directories section lists your saved graphs. Each row lets you:
- Load the graph: click the graph name
- Rename: click the pencil icon, type a new name, press Enter
- Share: click the link icon (see Sharing)
- Delete: click the trash icon
Sharing Saved Graphs
Saved graphs can be shared as:
- Anyone with the link: anyone can open the graph
- Invite only: only the email addresses you list can open it (recipients must sign in with an invited email)
See Sharing Graphs for details.
